Incorporated in 1996, Malakoff Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (“MESB”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary by Malakoff Corporation Berhad ("Malakoff"). MESB is the Malakoff project management arm that provides project management services for in-house projects.
MESB has a proven track record of 24 years including in power plant development projects such as Open Cycle Gas Turbine (“OCGT”), Combine Cycle Gas Turbine (“CCGT”), Coal-Fired Power Plant, Electricity Distribution System & Chilled Water System and Large Scale Solar Plant (“LSSP”).
Services
Design Review
Providing consultation in the review of detailed engineering and designs for all aspects of Mechanical & Electrical ("M&E") and Civil & Structural ("C&S"), as well as adherence to practices as per codes and standard.
Design is evaluated thoroughly to ensure that design requirements and specifications set forth by the client are met, fully functional and can be adequately maintained for a minimum and predetermined period of time.
Erection & Installation
Provide and manage the coordination, supervision and management of the erection and installation activities from start until completion of works via highly technical staff. The project team lead by the Project Manager will ensure appropriate HSSE, QA/QC policies and procedures are applied throughout the project.

Offers wide range of full system review and monitoring of testing and commissioning, carried out by our technical engineers.

Pre & Post Project Construction
Assist project owner during the development of projects such as technical review of tender document and EPCC contract negotiations.
Support asset owner and operation team during the warranty period upon project completion. Ensure the punch list items and defect rectification works are executed in accordance to the standard and completed in a timely manner without affecting plant operation.
