Vincent Yap Leng Khim, male, a Malaysian, graduated from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) in 1996. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales and admitted as a Barrister by Lincoln’s Inn, London in 1997. He was subsequently called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1998.
He joined the Company as the Senior Vice President, Corporate Services Division on 1 December 2017.
Prior to joining Malakoff, he worked at Zelan Berhad for 8 years, in the capacity as Head of Legal for 2 years and then as Director of Corporate Services for 6 years. While in the legal profession, he was a Partner at Albar & Partners, Advocates & Solicitors, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, initial public offerings, corporate banking, debt capital markets, structured finance and asset backed securitisation. He had previously served as a Legal Counsel at OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, handling mainly corporate and investment banking portfolios.
He has approximately 10 years of experience in the legal profession and 15 years of in-house legal experience in the energy, banking, engineering and construction industries.
