On 17th January 2022, Malakoff Corporation Berhad (“Malakoff”)’s environmental management subsidiary, Alam Flora Sdn Bhd (“Alam Flora”) was named a winner at the prestigious Human Resources Development Awards 2022 (“HRD Awards 2022”) under the Large Employers category which was presented by the Minister of Human Resources, YB. Tuan V. Sivakumar, to Alam Flora's General Manager of Human Capital, Encik Mohamad Fardaus Rahmat.

The HRD Awards recognises companies that have shown their dedication towards strengthening the ecosystem of human capital development and workplace excellence, as well as demonstrating empathy and concern to their employees.

Commenting on the recognition, Alam Flora’s Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) Dato’ Mohd Zain Hassan said, “Winning the award in 2022 is such an extraordinary and overwhelming achievement as 2022 was a tough year for us and many other organisations and industries in Malaysia ever since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

He added that the recognition reflects Alam Flora's performance in human resource development involving more than 10,000 of its ‘wira bumi’ who are committed to creating a sustainable living environment for all.
