It was a double celebration for Alam Flora Sdn Bhd (“Alam Flora”) and its subsidiary company, Alam Flora Environmental Solutions (“AFES”), when both won prestigious awards at the Global Business Leadership Awards 2020 on 29 September 2020 at the Putrajaya Marriott Hotel. Alam Flora was conferred with the ‘Excellence in Waste Management’ award and AFES took home the ‘Excellence in Facilities Management’ award. The event was organised by the Asia Pacific Business Council for Sustainability and its international partner, Institute of Sustainability.

Receiving the awards on behalf of Alam Flora and AFES were Chief Executive Officer, YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Zain Hassan and Chief Operating Officer (AFES), En. Nazar Abdul Raof, respectively.

Commenting on the double win, Dato’ Mohd Zain said, “This recognition is a true testament for both companies as it epitomises our commitment towards giving nothing but the best to the people of Malaysia. This win will indeed spur us further to give our very best in terms of services and results to all Malaysians. Alam Flora and AFES will continue to push the bar for excellence in waste management in the country and the region”.

Adding on, En. Nazar Raof said, “Being honored and acknowledged for our facilities management excellence will further push AFES’ key business goals of providing holistic environmental solutions through sustainability development”.
